Day in the Life:

The Human Resources Coordinator will provide a superior service experience to internal employees and business partners across North America as they provide support in areas of recruitment (initiation of requisitions, candidate screening, and interview scheduling), employee onboarding and offboarding, and responding to benefits and other employee inquiries. In addition, the HR Coordinator will provide administrative support to the HR function for record-keeping, HRIS entry and maintenance and accuracy of other data points. This position will also support and facilitate ongoing HR projects such as the annual Talent process, Compensation initiatives, training initiatives, and the Shared Services newsletter.

What You Will Do:

  • Support the HR function to deliver service that puts employee experience top of mind.
  • Facilitate the recruitment process by creating and posting requisitions, tracking candidates in process, and scheduling interviews.
  • Support the seamless onboarding and offboarding of employees, including hosting weekly orientation and benefit information sessions, preparing onboarding plans, provisioning access and equipment, conducting exit interviews and providing related employee support.
  • Be a go-to resource for employee inquiries and work with the employees and various HR support functions to resolve concerns, including making recommendations to improve processes as needed.
  • Provide compliance reporting and follow-up.
  • Contribute to Company HR initiatives and programs, such as tracking progress and outcomes of the Talent process, and validating records for Compensation initiatives related to Bonus payments and the annual Merit process.
  • Perform administrative data tasks for accurate record keeping, including the maintenance and regular validation of manual spreadsheet data and two unique HR information systems.
  • Be an integral part of an HR Business Partner team. Have a voice in project discussions and process development.

What You Will Need:

  • Completed post-secondary education, preferably in Human Resources.
  • 6-12 months of Human Resources experience preferred.
  • Excellent knowledge of Google Suite (Mail, Docs, Sheets, Slides, Drive) and high proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and intermediate user of Microsoft Excel.
