What This Position is All About
The Consultant, Talent Acquisition is an innovative, strategic, passionate talent acquisition professional who reports into the Director Talent Acquisition. They are responsible for managing the recruitment and selection activities across North America for their assigned client group. The corporate recruiter will be expected to develop new sourcing and recruiting strategies to fulfill open jobs and benchmark for future talent.

Who You Are:

  • Puts the needs of internal and external customers first and acts with customers in mind. 

  • Great networking and relationship management with a variety of internal customers as well as external candidates. 

  • Ability to multi-task and proven track record in managing a large workload and shifting priorities.A sense of urgency and initiative is a must.

  • Project planning and calendar management experience 

  • Demonstrated ability to influence, interact, influence and negotiate with people and can gain ground without damaging relationships.Can be both direct as well as diplomatic and have the ability to gain trust quickly in a matrix organization across all levels of the organization including senior leadership.


You Also Have:

 

  • Undergraduate degree and/or college diploma.
  • Minimum 3 years experience as a Corporate Recruiter. 
  • Strong Microsoft Office skills including Excel, Word and PowerPoint. 
  • Previous experience with Applicant Tracking system, LinkedIn Recruiter and other Social Media platforms.


As The Sr. Consultant, Talent Acquisition You Will:

 

 

  • Manage full cycle recruitment: This includes, but is not limited to; research, sourcing (cold-calling), pre-screening, interviewing, qualifying, referencing, offer negotiation and placement management.
  • Build strong internal relationships: Partner with Human Resource Managers and Hiring Managers to recommend, develop and implement recruitment strategies and programs. 
  • Develop external relationships: Build and maintain critical role candidate pipelines and present findings to key business leaders and HR partners. Attend networking events and learning seminars and be a leader in talent acquisition representing HBC.
  • Maintain top results and strive for excellence: Always meet or exceed recruiting metrics set out for the department. Ensure the consistent hiring of top talent. 
  • Identify Opportunities: Participate as an active member of the Talent Acquisition team, assisting with the development and realization of the Talent Acquisition strategic plans and goals.
